Nils Hansen is an award-winning sculptor and crypto artist with nearly 30 years of experience in traditional sculpture and over 20 years in digital 3D art. In 2019, he minted his first NFTs, positioning himself as one of the earliest adopters of blockchain technology in the German art scene.

His sculptures have been displayed in public spaces worldwide, and his digital works have been collected on renowned crypto art platforms such as SuperRare, MakersPlace, and VIV3. These works are featured in prestigious collections, including the Museum of Crypto Art (MoCA) and the Whale Collection, and have been acquired by notable collectors like MantaXR, Akira, and Xray.

Nils' achievements in the field of art have been recognized through several awards and scholarships, including the A'Design Award in Silver and Bronze. His digital works have been exhibited at the Crypto Art Fair in Beijing, NFT Art Week in Hangzhou and Shenzhen, the ETH Summit in Denver, the Wow Summit NFT-Expo in Dubai, Mamilla Avenue in Jerusalem, and the Centro de Arte Alcobendas in Madrid.

He has been nominated for the Innovation Prize Amateras Paper Art and selected as an Artist in Residence at the Silpakorn University in Bangkok.

Currently, Nils works in the research and development department of Mercedes-Benz. His studio is based in Berlin, where he continues to create works ranging from time-based digital pieces to elaborate visuals and monumental sculptures.
